REPORT OF THE SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY JUDO CLUB HELD AT THE AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY JUDO CLUB DOJO, 8 WOODHALL RD, EPSOM, AUCKLAND, ON 23 MAY 2011 AT 7.40 PM
PRESENT: Rick Littlewood, Tim Slyfield, Rob Levy, Barney Irvine, Greg Reynolds, Jordan Reynolds, Cameron Reynolds, Yoshio Kanaya, Dmitri Gryzhuk, Vivek Parboo, Khan Townsend-Paley, Paul Gary
APOLOGIES: Andrew Chrystal, David Mair
1. Transfer of assets
Rick Littlewood recommended that all assets and liabilities from the Epsom/Auckland University Judo Club Inc be transferred to the newly incorporated Auckland University Judo Club Inc.
RESOLVED on the motion of Barney Irvine, seconded by Paul Gary, THAT assets be transferred to the new club.
2. Dissolution of club
Rick Littlewood recommended that the Epsom/Auckland University Judo Club Inc be dissolved.
RESOLVED on the motion of Barney Irvine, seconded by Paul Gary, THAT the Epsom/Auckland University Judo Club be dissolved.
3. Club fees
Rick Littlewood recommended that club fees be formally set at $15 per week for adults and $12 per week for students.

4. Funding for tournaments overseas
Rick Littlewood recommended that for any future trips to Japan to compete in judo masters’ tournaments, only club members who have been financial for two years or more can apply for funding.
RESOLVED on the motion of Barney Irvine, seconded by Paul Gary, THAT only club members who have been financial for at least two years be able to apply for funding for trips to Japan to compete in masters’ tournaments.
5. Lion Foundation,Auckland Super City council and other Charity organisation applications
Rick Littlewood recommended that we apply to the above for funding to help with the running of the club.
RESOLVED on the motion of Barney Irvine, seconded by Paul Gary,that the club apply to the above and other organisations for funding.
Meeting closed at 8.30pm.
