Wellington area judo Championship report by Professor Paul Wood blue belt.

Thanks Sensei.
Results from yesterday:
gold in the YM under 90kg,
sliver in the YM open,
bronze in the SM under 90kg,
and bronze in the restricted kyu.
I ended up having 13 fights and was so exhausted in my last few that I lost to opponents I should have beaten due to a lack of fitness/stamina. I also managed to get disqualified in the restricted kyu in a fight due to bridging on my head - did it without thinking. Certainly learnt a lot of the experience and came away with some good ideas of what I need to work on, everything yes! but also some more specific areas. Happy that I represented the Kong well anyway. Enjoy Nippon and see you when you are back.

Paul

Paul hard left , but now a blue belt going for brown.
