Judo All Japan Masters 2016 Kodokan plus the passing of a old judo teacher , Frank Best from Christchurch N.Z

Thank very much for the participation of NZ team to the Ureshino, Saga to the Masters Judo Championships 2015 which held on September of this  year.

The event of date and place of next yeas has just decided on 18th and 19th of June of  2016 at Kodokan, Tokyo.

The details of the events will be sent you after printing (around end of January 2016)

Sad news
Frank Best just passed away after  a long illness at about the age of 74
Frank was a tough old iRISHMAN who did judo and ran clubs in CHCH with the last club being Butokujuku which he started with Dave Mair. Together they produced a string of very good judoka like Nick Whittey , Graehame Jones, Grant Jones,and peter Broom.
Frank was the N.Z. open champion in 1968.
We will miss you Frank.
