Christchurch Earthquake

This is a picture of Canterbury Area Director, Graeme Spinks on his front lawn showing us his big crack.

We hear that the Christchurch School of Judo dojo is still standing but due to safety, they are training out of a garage until the aftershocks cease. The Christchurch Martial Arts shop did not fair so well and may need to be bulldozed.

We understand that many of our fellow JNZ members are experiencing difficulty and worry after the recent (and ongoing) earthquakes in the region. I am sure all members are thinking of all those affected by these events, and hope that things return to normal as quickly as possible.
