Rick says: “Pat Toner fights in M12 five months after a complete hip operation. Wow! Rick Littlewood wins two gold’s four months after 6.5 hr prostate operation wow! Wow! Allard Mitchell looked like a spider and fought like one. Wayne Schuler fought like a champion despite recent shoulder/ ankle injuries. Rob levy was disappointed with silver and bronze but knew that M2  U90 division would have been one of the toughest. Khan was just happy to be there (one of the few brown belts that held his own).

“Highlights of the tour? According to the Judoka at the Marunouchi police dojo, Tokyo, it was learning Uni Judos NEWA UCHIKOMI which the sensei had seen us do 20 yrs ago (…Thanks for a good demo from Rob and Khan). Pat Toner coming out of a public toilet with wet Y-Front after being hit with water after pushing the wrong flush button. Rick losing his JR rail pass on the second day!....And there was Rob Levy asking ‘is that pork ? …then that looks like shell fish!’ No no Rob ‘it’s chicken’. Then he asks ‘is there a washing machine in every hotel?...on every corner ? etc…’ (I guess you had to be there).
