I'm pleased to advise that the Masters Grading Commission comprising (Clare Hargave (Grading Director), Bill Vincent, Graeme Spinks, Derek Maggs & Graeme Coulson, Dave Browne (President) and myself Jim McPhee unanimously agreed that Rick Littlewood be promoted to the very high grade of 8th Dan.  Presentation was made by Dave Browne president of Judo N.Z. I.J.F Olympic and World judo championships senior International referee at his 70th birthday party, for Rick to become the second current holder [and the most active] of this - the highest grade - in New Zealand.  7 others were awarded higher dan grades.See article on Easter Reedy in JudoKong.com
