The news is that we now have a hostel attached to Ritsumei Uni judo dojo.Cost is yen 600 per night.$8.00 N.Z.Its literary on your bike as its 20 minutes by bike from the dojo.

Attendance on Monday/Wednesday have been 24-30 with 18-20 on on Friday/Saturdays.
Takuya sandan from Nippon uni Tokyo goes back today having finished his studies at Auckland Uni .

The All Japan master association is holding a meeting on the 12 April to try and change the dates.
The Ocean restricted judo championships are being held in Auckland at the end of April.Tim Slyfield is the clubs only entry and the club has a $300 bet on him winning.
The All Japan high grade Masters is being held at the Kodokan on the29th april followed by the All Japan championships.
New Zealand's only ever entry Rick Littlewood will be there to receive his special Kodokan present medal for 20 times participation.In the 20 times he has entered he has never lost a fight or won one with tachiwaza.
This months special beer at the club is Orion Okinawa lager 500mls which will complement the made in Denmark Carlsburg 500ml lager. prust !
