Brent Cooper ,judo n.z. Dan grade director, Technical director etc Mr.Fixit etc has been appointed sensei for Judokai n.z.1948.inc and will teach there on tuesdays and thursdays

This could be a shock to the system for the few remaining senior members. aka no more touch rugby for 30 minutes followed by brutalizing the lower grades.

Judokai has a rahui[ban] on drinking after judo, Brent may want to change this policy a little.

Dave Browne x president of Judokai and Judo N.Z. left for China on tuesday for a two year working holiday overseas, where ? anywhere that will take him .

Judo N.Z. congress was held last weekend and as there were no nominations for president of judo n.z. Derk Maggs from the waikato area was was temporary appointed until the year 2020.  

Paul Wong x Auckland uni judo champion is now the president of  Judokai N.Z. 1948 inc.

There five new and shiny black belts from N.Z. floating around kyoto at the moment.

Rei Yamamoto recently graded to green belt bought a dozen spanish beers to celebrate his promotion.

Fortunately to for the boys Kura japanese sake bar had been doing a film /tv shoot and had all this food from photo shoots left over which did not last long washed down with a few beers.
