Judo Gossip,This week November 2014 , Igor freshly made black belt takes class.

Igor as part of his black belt grading took the senior class last night.
All was fine with the follow points made.
When you teach a waza , there is no carrying on with your own practice, watch the students and see the main mistakes, stop the class and reteach.
If students talk or start doing their thing ,invite them to take the class.
As most students have a limited brain size don't teach too much!
Remember , the more you teach ,the more they forget.
Otherwise well done Igor who got a round of applause for his efforts.
Tim Slyfield was seen back on the mat with the wifes thumb print between the eyes fading.
Tim managed to escape from his wife by saying he had a headache. 
The old Indian joke of "no no you are not starting a dairy here, has been been replaced by , no no you are not going to judo tonite.
Rob was back too bulling a few of the bigger judoka.

lieutenant commander retired on full pension x AJA president , x Browns bay judo club president Dave Corduroy was in town and decided to call in and say hello.
Dave who now lives in Whangamata near tauranga is waiting for the judo nz president to give him some mats so he can start a judo club. 
Dave who while in the navy lost feeling  from the waist down so he went to the navy doctor.
The navy when sailors were sick bled them , gave them a bottle of rum and sent them home.
This time the navy doctor examined Dave , gave him a aspirin and sent him home.
A later MRI gave a result  of multiple sclerosis.
Yong , our panda bear  korean nidan came back to judo bearing a case of Heineken beer which was lapped up by Tim and Rob.These two guys just love free beer.
Also seen was multi millionaire property developer Wayne Schuler.
Wayne is developing the old vinegar factory site in Ponsonby , He also knows when there is free beer going.
Luke his son , shodan judo , rugby crazy son was last seen in Belfast playing rugby for the Catholics against the Protestants.
We did say crazy didn't we .

Wednesdays judo class will be taken by Vladimir Pekoff who got his shodan in Osaka last month.
Last night the junior judo class members were graded , with many yellow tabs given , plus three to full yellow belt. 
Auckland Martial arts would like to thank Khan. Thanks Khan.
Over the weekend a dozen judo jackets had illegal gang patches sewn on.
Judo n.z. said our 25 yr old uni judo design did not conform. How sad!
This gave some members the chance to upgrade their unnamed jackets by taking someones else s.
