Oceania judo championships in fuedal Tonga

Australia won by a country mile with N.Z. 3rd equal with Tonga and Samoa in the gold medal count.
Judo N.Z. has been too embarrased to post the oceania results on it boring web site

Tonga has one judo club with about 10 members and that is only recently had that many members .

Samoa has only one club and probably about the same number of members 

 New Zealand has 53 of which the majority are childrens clubs with about 2000 members.

So poor was the entries that many gold won was a contest between 2/3 people only.
especially in the senior womens

Some contestants from the islands had to travel 2 days to get there and then only had one fight.
One international mat was used and it was all over in one day.
Why would you hold a international judo shiai in a forsaken feudal island ruled by 10 nobels? unless you were the president of Oceania and tonga judo.
The next Oceania championships will be held in the Tokelau islands pop, 505.
How does the Oceania championships work ? on the same basis as other international judo associans, which means only so many  per weight from each country.
Ociania judo federation elections we held and the there has been a complete change at the top. Its now someone  elses turn for free trips , fancy titles, and what ever.
The oceania judo federation was set up by a Laurie Hargrave from n.z. and he had this cunning plan to stay in power by giving each banana island whether they had a judo club or not one vote each to perpetuate his reign and this system continues to this day.
