2025 Auckland Uni Judo AGM

 To the Members of Auckland University Judo Club

 

On Wednesday 16 July at 7.35pm we will have the 2025 Annual General Meeting (training will finish at 7.30pm to facilitate this).

 

On Wednesday 16 July at 8.00pm we will have a Special General Meeting (SGM) – with the purpose of voting in our new Constitution (we have had to reform our constitution due to changes in the Incorporated Societies Act in 2022 – the existing constitution did not conform to the new Act).  Thanks to the Senior Leadership Team (led by Mauricio) who have formulated the draft of the new Constitution.

There will be 2 x copies of the new constitution posted on the club notice board from Wednesday 3 July, so all club members can scrutinise it fully, prior to the vote at the SGM.

 

Please do attend - it is important that members understand how the club has operated over the last 12 months, and has input into who is running the club over the coming 12 months. 

 

We also do not want to lose our ‘Incorporated Society’ status… so it is important that the SGM happens.

 

In addition, there will be a heap of pizza to be shared   : )
