Khan and Saiaka’s Juniors class is going strongly. Saiaka plays good cop, Khan plays grumpy Sensei and between the two of them they provide a good class with high-quality instruction.
Congratulations to Sibon, who recently submitted his doctoral dissertation, for securing a post-doc at UCLA.

The club welcomes several new players including Dimitri the Russian boxer. Dimitri has never done any Judo before but still manages a perfect turn in, left and right, for seio-nage. He also has a mean ura-nage, ko-uchi-gari and o-goshi.
