9TH All Japan Masters Judo Championships 10th&11th November

A New Zealand Masters team is going to Yamaguchi city,south of Hiroshima city in November to continue the tradition of having a N.Z. masters team [which started in 2003] at the All Japan Masters.
To be held at the Yamaguchi Budokan  on the Saturday and Sunday.A big party is always held on the Saturday night.
Plan A.is to leave on Friday 2nd November , arrive in Osaka , proceed to Kyoto where the N.Z.team will stay at the Shimeikaikan judo hotel for $100, training at Rakunan high school,Enshin and Kyodai Uni, before proceeding to Yamaguchi Budokan on the Friday with a stop at the Hiroshima A Bomb Centre.
On the West coast of Yamaguchi is a very famous small town called Hagi which was the center of the Samurai rebellion against the Shogun in 1867 , thus has a castle,museum etc, the team members will find very interesting.
Those wish to stay longer may make their own arrangements after that.
Korean Air is currently selling return tickets to Kansai Osaka for the month of November for $1119 return.
Financial members of Auckland Uni Judo club inc wishing to go will be sponsored , certain conditions apply.
All those wishing to go except supporters must be members of Judo N.Z.
