Sake Tasting!

Judo is many things to many people—martial art, sport, recreational hobby etc... It is also a vehicle that facilitates international friendships, cosmopolitanism and helps deepen cross cultural understandings. Through Judo we can also come to know more about Japan.

In the spirit (literally) of internationalism and education, University Judo and BJJ is having a sake tasting. There is a lot that needs celebrating at the club and so why not do it while learning the difference between a Honjōzō-shu and a Ginjō-shu? At the tasting you might also get a handle on the differences between a Tokubetsu Junmai-shu and Junmai Daiginjō-shu. And by the end of it you may also be speaking fluent Russian.
If you are interested in being a part of the sake tasting please email or text Rick Littlewood. You could also send him a get-well note at the same time. Sensei Rick is currently convalescing in the company of lovely young nurses.
