JUDO.Asian Masters Tokyo Kodokan day 2 teams shiai SEPT.2014

Sunday day two of the Asian Masters
The n.z. Team was as follows
30 to 40. Professor stu Mitchell
40-50 Vitali the ruskie
50-60 professor Alan green
70-80 yrs Standing at 145 cm 7th dan Fukumorita Sensei (a ring in)
This is dantai sen sudden death if you lose .
1st round a bye , great!
2 nd round we won 3-2
3 rd round lost against the eventual silver medalists 4-1
For the first time in two years Professor Alan green lost a shiai which was in the third round .
As a twice gold medalist at the Asian masters ,under judo nz rules Alan green does not qualify to represent N.Z. Ha ! Ha!
It almost gives you the impression that those who never enter n.z. Judo or international masters make the rules for those who do
