Training finished a bit early today in order to hold a grading for three of our club's members. The three of them all passed and earned yellow belts, showing some impressive quality in their throws and ne-waza ability for their level of experience.
Congratulations to the following (in alphabetical order):
- Linjian Chen, a regular member of our Saturday classes for the last two years and a regular attendee of AucklandBJJ (with a purple belt to show for it).
- Sam Kerry, University student who started with us around April and even gave a brown belt a tough time at the Howick Fun Day.
- Signy Crowe, engineer and also a member of AucklandBJJ, who has been a regular at Saturdays since starting with us in May.
Looking forward to seeing you guys continue to improve! The next grading will be in December.
