Team
The landscape is uncertain and there is no solution on the immediate horizon. What we do know is that we can't stop the virus but we must all do our part to slow its progression. From a medical perspective there is overwhelming evidence that the spread of the virus can be prevented by not gathering in groups. Training together can put lives at risk if an infected person is present and passes the virus to others.
Taking all this into consideration the Squad now take this position to protect our athletes, their families and our extended community. These are difficult and unprecedented times and this decision has not been taken lightly.
Once again, this is a rapidly changing landscape and I will be issuing updates if the situation changes significantly.
Finally, we are a community and a family - and I hope you and your loved ones all stay healthy.
Please take good care of yourself, your family and be safe.
Yours in Judo

PS… No excuse for not training - strength and fitness individual training should be happening at least one a day (six days a week) - it is perfectly possible to exit these tough times with better general fitness and strength than prior to 'on the mat' practice stopping. You can dance like ‘nobody is watching’… but you better train like ‘Rob is watching’! Love you guys!
