Rick Littlewood Memorial Dinner

CLUB DINNER - SATURDAY 20 JULY

Sad to say… it has been almost a year since our Olympian; 8th Dan Sensei passed away.

We will be celebrating his memory as a club… and sharing good memories of ‘old school’ brutality; timeless ne-waza; special times in Japan and a passion for judo that lives on.

WHEN:- Saturday 20 July / 6.30pm start

WHERE:- Tanuki / Upstairs Banquet Room

COST:- Food is $45 (drinks are whatever you want to spend - but may be some great specials on the night) / if you are a vegetarian, there will be a special menu; you will be charged a little less; and you will be mocked a little more (as Rick would have wanted)

GUARANTEED:- A chance to toast the life and times of Rick Littlewood with some Junmai (premium) sake - kindly gifted to the members of University Judo Club by the Littlewood family and Auckland’s finest Japanese restaurant, Tanuki.

A great chance for club-mates and friends of the club to come together for good memories; good banter and a good time.
