University Judo at the NZ Secondary Schools Nationals

University Judo had two members compete in the NZ Secondary Schools Judo Nationals which took place in Aquinas College, Tauranga this Sunday.

Phoebe Lu, who trains with us nearly every day and has finally managed to avoid getting injured before a shiai came away with two silver medals, one in the Under 52kg category and another in the Girls Open.

Meagan, who trains predominantly at Coach Ben's School Judo Club but also trained in our main dojo in the build up to the competition, won a bronze medal in the Girls Open in her first ever crack at judo shiai.
